"The fact that a dozen of us young people banded together to try to help Pathfinder grow is a testament to this inspiring organization." —Abigail Everdell
Young Advocates for Pathfinder is a volunteer group of young civic leaders and professionals who strongly support Pathfinder’s mission to ensure that people everywhere have the right and opportunity to live a healthy reproductive life.
Young Advocates care deeply about global justice and equality. With a collaborative spirit, they contribute to Pathfinder’s successful work in developing countries by engaging their own communities to consider issues that affect women, men, and young people everywhere.
Founded in 2009, the first Young Advocates group continues to hold events in NYC. They started a movement, and we hope that you will join them!
Host an Event of Your Own
Do you enjoy bringing friends together for a common cause? You can advance Pathfinder’s mission, raise awareness, and support for this vital cause by hosting a Young Advocates event of your own—a cocktail party, luncheon, webinar, film screening, or whatever inspires you.
To assist you in your efforts, we offer these resources:
- Event Tools: Organize a successful event with a Nametag Template, Sign-in Sheet, Sample Invitation, and Thank You Note.
- Girl2Woman: Show a powerful video at your event and give attendees an opportunity to take action in the days that follow. Each time they share the video through our Girl2Woman site, a generous donor gives $1 to advance our work, up to $1M!
- Pathways: Want a great publication to hand out at your event? Access Pathfinder's newsletters electronically. Recent themes include "Addressing HIV" and "Safe Abortion: Defending Rights, Protecting Health, Saving Lives."
